Accidental filter wrecked everything

Post by Anormalcat »

I accidentially bllocked an element, But the problem is i also set up a filter to block the letter "E"

So if i run abp with any elements that contain the letter E, Well you get what i'm driving at. I can't even look at the options page to get rid of the filter

Personally i'm thinking that ABP shouldn't operate on it's own settings page...
Or at least have a "Show ads on this site" button

go into your chrome profile

In the Windows Explorer window that appears enter the following in the address bar.
Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\
Windows Vista/ Windows 7/ Windows 8: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\

go into default folder

close chrome
you can: delete file system folder

or
go to into file system and search in all folders a file of 1.2 - 1.4 MB size (or more)
delete it

open chrome and see the first page where you can again select the features you want to install, you will have access to the options

fixed in the last dev build 1.8.3.1204
if you want to try it, remove (or disable the stable build 1.8.3)
install the dev build
