How can I tell whether my website has Adblock?

Post by WillHunting »

When someone visits my website, I'd like to be able to tell if they're using ad blocking software. Like on pokieslab.com/aristocrat/ does, I want to ask them to turn it off if they are using it in order to help the project.

If you visit that site when your browser is using some sort of adblock software, the site will display a little banner informing you that the revenue from the advertising is used to run the project and that you should think about turning off Adblock.

How can I accomplish it on my website, which uses Adsense advertisements?

A quick way is to check for the AdBlock icon in your browser's toolbar. This article might help you with the rest- https://helpcenter.getadblock.com/hc/en ... ific-sites
