How to remove Toxic Waste @@

Post by bearcatlauranne »

NSFW content here

Windows 10 PC 64 bit. Using Chrome and/or Firefox. Adblock plus on both browsers.
I have Very little computer knowledge , please be patient and kind.

1. Have been using Xhamster, a "youtube of porn" for years. Lately in Chrome, every clip now begins with an embedded ad with a "Skip Ad" countdown timer. I'd like to know how to block this automatically, not manually. For a while, these ads did not appear when using Firefox. Now, they do.

More and more sites are popping up "We see you are using an Adblocker, disable or fuck off". How to block this?

2. A great deal of YouTube content now has a type of embedded poison.
Please bear with me while I explain. In Yahoo, if I consider a particular email to be Spam, I can identify it as such with one click of a button. I think what happens then is that Yahoo counts all the reports, and if a specific sender gets enough "this is spam" votes, anything from that address gets sent to everyone's spam folder.
I'm hoping for a type of similar "crowd source" browser add on.
For example, a YouTube video narrator gets to the middle of the video, then begins his "but first, a word from my sponsor" crap at the 4:12 point, and it ends at 5:05, for example.
I make note of when the garbage part begins, and when it ends. Then this info goes into a massive database similar to the Yahoo "this is spam" database. Then, anyone using the browser extension I envision plays that Youtube video, the garbage advertising part will be automatically skipped.

3. Similar to number two, a browser extension to block "clickbait" video and pages from opening, to avoid misleading garbage. So much clickbait on Youtube.

4. Something to filter Google Results. It seems as if now the first twenty to fifty results are all paid ads, want to filter that out. Next, there is a spreading internet disease preying upon people trying to DIY fix computer issues. The google search turns up purported articles / videos to "help" when what they are really doing is trying to sell you software to supposedly fix the problem, not help you fix it yourself. Like to rip this out by the roots.

5. Something to fix the Amazon Prime search function. When you select the option to view items from "lowest price to high" it deliberately clogs the results with many pages of garbage results unrelated to what you want to find.

5. searching for video clips via google produces lousy results. I'd like to filter out any video below a certain resolution, for example, below 720p.

6. A way to "opt in". I don't necessarily hate ALL advertising. I would like to take greater control over it. If the ads were for things I am in the market for, at a price I consider reasonable, I'm interested. I don't want to be nagged or shown things I do not want. I'd like to be able to create an "acceptable ad category" filter for the entire internet, with extremely specific criteria.
