Adblock Plus on IE?

Post by ant_85 »

Hi!
I just wanted to know if Adblock Plus also works on the new Internet Explorer. I usually use Firefox, but on one of my computers Firefox doesn't work properly anymore. I uninstalled Firefox completely, also removed any entries in the registry, but still Firefox doesn't work properly anymore on this computer. So I am forced to use the IE. I know, that Firefox is OpenSource and the Internet Explorer ist not, but I just wanted to know if I could install Adblock Plus on the IE anyway.

Sorry to bother you with this question. Hope you can help me!

Did you try with new profile:
http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile

Also if your Plugins are old or broken, like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player, QuickTime and so on, all kind of bugs and crashes might happen.

Here is info about Firefox Issues and Problems and so on...

And also if you have win XP or 2000, check your computer with Ewido, it's currently maybe best anti-spyware program.

Best? rather most expensive...
Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, Windows Defender and others are for free and have better identification rates.

You can use Ewido for free, but these:
NEW Scheduled scans
Real-time monitoring of the entire system
Memory Scan detects active threats
Self-protection at kernel layer guarantees gapless monitoring
Automatic online-update
features are turned off after 30-day trial.
And here is list of features that still works:
