This will take care of the boxes there. Try and let me know.

Code: Select all

hardocp.com#div(class^=thead)

I cannot read the language, so you should check these yourself.

That is a very bad site for ads.

Code: Select all

*yuserver.com*
*.sponsorads.*
*autosandzak.com/baneri/*
*layer-ads.de*
*webmasterplan.com*

The word "AD" itself that shows up after an ad has been blocked is very hard to element-hide without causing false-positives. It is usually just plain text in the html code of the page ... adblock does not (directly) block text in a page.

Strangely enough, the word "AD" on bestdownload.com does NOT show up on my browser. Are you also using my regular EasyList filter besides the EasyElement one?

Wait a minute...

(I just re-read one of your posts)

Are you ONLY using the EasyElement filter and that's all?

You need to install the regular EasyList too. The element filter is only a second add-on filter to be used with the main EasyList one.

You cannot use the element filter alone!

Those look to me like you have another ad blocking program installed too. I know admuncher would but [munched] or [ad] every time it removed an ad to show you where it had removed an ad from that page, if you didn't disable it in the options. Maybe a ad blocking firewall?

Because even if I disable adblock plus it doesn't show the word [ad] on those pages.

The word "AD" a lot of times only shows up if the ad in that space is blocked. Sometimes it happens when you just block the image and leave the i-frame or scripting unblocked.

It sorta does look like another program icon though, Dogg.

[AD] ... who knows

I tried both filter (together) but problem remains - I can still see word Ad, what kind of filter do you use (only EasyList + EasyElement ?)?

When I used it a long time ago, the Agnitum Outpost firewall's adblocking bit used to leave markers behind like that - if my memory serves me correctly.
