Disable + reload button

Post by Kobi »

Sometimes I see a page in which ads are blocked. I want to redisplay it with ads but I don't want to change the Enable Adblock Plus toggle because I need to display the ads just this time.

So I suggest that an optional "Disable + Reload" button will be added. It will reload the current page with adblock plus disabled. The button will not affect other pages or further reloads of the same page using the normal reload button.

The problem with this proposal of buttons or options is that only a few people use them, and they occupy space and need explanations about functionality and use.

One of Wladimir's plans is to implement automatic reloading of items affected when filters are modified, but it is a future changelog feature and depends on some implementations in Gecko engine, as far as I understood.

It just takes one middle-click to disable it, one click on the Refresh or Go buttons, and another middle-click to reenable it. Not that bad. :\

Replace 'Refresh or Go button' with F5 and your hand/fingers move even less. 8)
