chrome:// URLs?

Post by VF »

I've been using Adblock Plus to block ads in feeds rendered using the Sage extension. No problem, using Sage 1.3 which generates the page and opens it with a file://... URL.

However, I recently installed a nightly build of Sage 1.4, which now uses chrome URLs (chrome://sage/content/feedsummary.html?uri=...) Adblock Plus does not work on these pages and when I open the blockable items view, it informs me that it isn't a remote page.

Try removing "chrome" from extensions.adblockplus.whitelistedschemes?

But file is there, too. :\

Oh, I see how it works! Thanks for that.

By the way Peng, it doesn't seem to matter if file is there, because under it there's a preference for "Exceptions from whitelistedschemes" and file is in it.

Argh... Now that's a very bad thing Sage is doing there. I'm not really sure how to fix this, blocking chrome content isn't exactly a good idea and may cause serious trouble.
