adblock slows my system dramatically

Just upgraded to 50.01
ABP slows my moving between tabs dramatically, so much so i cant use my computer and have to revert to previous versions of firefox

It can take up to 30 seconds to open a new tab and 3up to 3 minutes to switch between tabs - esp when I have 5 or 6 open

Do you have a fix or just not use ABP?

PS I use windows 10

I'm using firefox dev edition (52) and I have no slowing issues.
What other addons are in yout firefox ? Did you test only with ABP disabling all other addons ?

Did you try resetting FF and reinstall ABP ?
Did you modify the default settings of ABP ?
What filter lists are enabled in ABP ?
