Adblock blocks Google maps "Street View" even when

I had to uninstall Adblock to get this feature to work. This is a recent development, I think it was related to Adblock's most recent release. Prior to that, I could disable Adblock, reload the Google page, and the "Street View" link would then load correctly when selected. After the update, the "Street View" link loaded a black screen whether Adblock was enabled or disabled.

1) What operating system and Flash version is that? You can check your Flash version on http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/

2) Please try installing the current development build from development-builds/further-improvements ... rd-support - does that fix the issue?

I get a black screen in place of street view pic in google maps. Disabling Adblock 0.5.3.043 and restarting Firefox allows street view to work.

The comments on Lifehacker and other gawker sites won't load unless adblock is disabled also. Example page with comments below the article:

Your version of Adblock (not Plus) is 3 years old and not fully compatible with Firefox 3 (that's probably causing your issue). I don't know where you got it, but you should definitely uninstall it and install Adblock Plus from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/1865

I'm having the same issue with AdBlock 1.3.5, Firefox 4.0b6, Windows XP SP3.
When AdBlock is enabled, street view fails to load correctly.
Disable for this page allows street view to function correctly.
Enabling AdBlock while in street view does not cause street view to fail.

firefox 4 Beta 6 should be updated to the stable release version.

You should update Flash as well, you can download the current version from http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashpl ... player.exe. I'm not saying that this will definitely fix your issues - but when using outdated and insecure beta software you should expect issues. Please don't ignore update notifications, they are there for a reason.
