Just a newbie question, whether there is limitation (maximum allowed or optimum size) for the adblock filter.
and, why *doubleclick* expression is considered "not programmatically effective".
Thank you
Any filter size limitations?
1) not directly. But the list is stored in about:config, prefs.js and there is some kind of limitation (but its high enough, so dont be afraid). but you should still try to make small end efficient filters, because this will speed up blocking. with large lists firefox complains, that a script may take to long.
[this is how it was in adblock 0.5.xx, but i thing in other versions it is similar]
2) because "doubleclick" (without quotes) is enough. and by the way, using regex is even a little better.
