Adblock Plus

Could someone please explain to me what "Check Parent Links" is and whether or not there is a performance hit with regards to the time a page loads with this feature enabled?

P.S. It would be nice if AP had definitions of various settings within the "Getting Started" selection.

I don't know if there is a performance hit with Check Parents Links but you will find that a number of URLs redirect to something different. If you have "Check Parents Links" enabled then Adblock checks the original URL as well as well it gets redirected to.
