I have recently come across a very annoying type of pop up that adblock plus does not block. From what I can figure out it opens a window to a site after you click on the page, even if you do not click on a link.
http://www.tesnexus.com/ uses this form and if it were not for the fact that it does it every time you go to a different page and click on something then i wouldn't mind it. So is there anyway to stop this type of pop up? Also i already tried blocksite and it works but it still does not stop the window from opening in the first place.

Using my list, I see no popunders :)

blocking *popunder* seems to work well, or http://popunder.* for this website.

Fanboy, the only reason I don't use your list is because
Note: This list is not fully optimized for Adblock Plus and may slow down your browsing.

Sure, when using I was using plenty of regex it was slower, should be okay now, it could always be more optimised.., but yeah its the whole effective filtering vs efficient filtering argument.

Code: Select all

Time to load filters: 153ms
Average time for pattern matching: 109.73333333333333ms
thats everything, except the whitelist,

Code: Select all

Time to load filters: 166ms
Average time for pattern matching: 108.4ms
(with the whitelist)

For a moment I was afraid they found a way to work around the Firefox popup blocker. Seems they didn't, I still get a message "Firefox prevented this site from opening a popup window." But they will open a popup whenever you click something on the page, pretty nasty.
