adblock / flash problem

Hi

i'm using the latest adblock plus 0.7.5.3 and adobe flash player 9.0.47.0 with firefox 2.0.0.9 on MacOS 10.4.10

Some pages with embedded flash content aren't displaying correctly. E.g. the embedded youtube video here: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/11/23 ... ace_chaos/
Or the embedded music player here: www.last.fm

I can hear the audio, but there's no video or controls etc. I just get a blank space.

Other pages are fine, e.g. watching videos directly on youtube.

If I disable adblock plus and restart firefox, everything works fine.

Has anyone else seen this? Is it a problem with flash or adblock plus?

Thanks (in hope...)

Oh and I forgot to add...

I don't think it's any of my filters.

I reset all the counters in the Adblock Plus filter pane, reloaded these pages. The flash content didn't display correctly, but none of the counters incremented.

This is bug 17120.

Thanks for that.

The symptoms aren't exactly as described in the bug ticket, but it's pretty similar... for me, moving the mouse over the movie, or playing it back don't cause a repaint. On that embedded youtube video, I can hear the audio, but not see any picture while it's playing.

Resizing the firefox window so the movie is partially offscreen makes the remaining part appear. But as soon as the whole movie is in the visible area, it disappears. So it's basically unusable while ABP is enabled :-(

Hope you figure it out. I don't like disabling ABP...
