Adblock Plus freezes specific web page - can anyone confirm?

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.9, ADP 0.7.5.3 and Sun JRE 1.6.0 on Windows 2K.

Firefox freezes just before it loads any images (or more likley, just as it tries to execute a Java Applet). I tried disabling all extensions and re-enabling one-by-one and discovered ADP is the cause.
I removed all filters and even tried the disable option but Firefox still freezes. Only disabling ADP from the Firefox Add-Ons manager or disabling JAVA from Firefox options cures the problem.

Can anyone reproduce this?

Confirmed. Fx 2.0.0.9, Adblockplus 0.7.5.3+.2007100317, Java Plug-in 1.6.0_03 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper), Win XP SP2
Brand-new profile, ABP with default settings and no filters.

That said, I think this might be a known problem already. I'll look around...

Edit: Seems to be fixed in Fx 3.0b1. At least it doesn't freeze for me.

Yes, issues related to Java are known - and actually a problem in Firefox itself that I cannot do anything about. The bad news: we are not going to see any improvement in Firefox 2. The good news: the page you gave us loads fine in Firefox 3.
