I've had a project of trying to learn Spanish by reading Chilean newspapers on line. As with other newspapers, the flashing ads make them hard to read. So over time I've made Adblock filters that clean up three Santiago dailies. I have a PC running XP and Firefox. Now my cousin wants to join me in this project, but she recently bought a Mac running Safari. I've never used a Mac and know nothing about it (I know XP and Firefox pretty well), and my cousin is new to computing altogether. In fact, she goes to a weekly private tutorial at the store where she bought her Mac last year, where her tutor has installed various software for her. He probably would install Firefox and Adblock if she asked him to. Questions:
Does Adblock work on the Mac using the same filter files as on XP with Firefox? If so, how would I install the filters I made on my PC onto my cousin's Mac?
Does Adblock work with Safari or only with Firefox?
How well does Firefox work on a Mac? Are the keyboard shortcuts the same as on a PC?
Thanks in advance for any answers to these questions.

Just export your filters to a file (See Filters -> export filters or just hit "Ctrl + E" in ABP's main window) and import that file on another computer. If so, how would I install the filters I made on my PC onto my cousin's Mac?
ABP is an extension for browsers using the Gecko engine (i.e. Firefox, SeaMonkey, K-Meleon and some others) - Safari is not one of them.Does Adblock work with Safari or only with Firefox?
I'm sure it works fine. Keyboard shortcuts differ in some places due to system specific ones. How well does Firefox work on a Mac? Are the keyboard shortcuts the same as on a PC?
