Cannot connect to clkuk.tradedoubler.com

I do not think that my problem relates to Adblock. I have started using "Topcashback" site, but when I try to access an insurance company site, I get the message "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at clkuk.tradedoubler.com."
I have used the @@ to whitelist the site when I can connect, and I want to know what the grey exclamation marks denote?
I wanted to post a screenshot, but realise that I cannot so will try elsewhere. In the meantime if anyone can suggest where to look to resolve the connection problem I would be grateful.

what subscriptions do you use?
Edit: Oops lol was half asleep, check that your firewall or other software isn't blocking access to the site, and that the site is actually online (get a friend to check it). Although they're an advertisement site anyway....

"Firefox cannot establish a connection to the server at clkuk.tradedoubler.com" is a network error, Adblock Plus cannot cause this.

Thanks. I followed instructions here :-
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ ... ot+connect
& using ping saw that packets were sent & received from clkuk.tradedoubler.com
Does this mean that it is some application on my PC preventing connection?

Site loads for me here.. if other sites are working then it could be something like Norton (which nobody should be using anyway) blocking the connection, or AdMuncher, it could also mean that your ISP's DNS servers are out of date and don't know where to look for the site. In which case I would suggest using the DNS servers of OpenDNS.com you can find a guide to getting up and running with them
here.

In my books, cash back sites are the new "get paid to click" deals. I don't like them because they reduce the effectiveness of advertisement, pushing advertisers to use more invasive methods of advertising.

@Pazuzu: Yes, it is probably some external application that is preventing the connection here. Maybe your firewall/antivirus software?
@jamieplucinski: If pings work then this is not a DNS issue.
