It's simple: You cannot use Adblock Plus with Opera. Adblock Plus is for Firefox (Gecko browsers) only.

Opera has already some rudimental adblock functionality included.

as guest said, Opera's adblocking abilities are quite limited. No whitelisting functions is a major. Otherwise I do have a adblock list that works Opera.

Fanboy: I'll be forever in your debt if you will tell me step by step (Illiterate) how to make your Opera adblock list work. I'm REALLY ignorant!

from the urlfilter.ini.

save this urlfilter.ini file into C:\Documents and Settings\...\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile

I use Firefox+adblock plus to develop on, so if theres a bug I'll usually find out in Firefox. If you find a problem filter in opera, load the list in Firefox (disable the whitelist).

I meant something like the Blockable Items list but I guess it doesn't have that. So many useful functions in ABP I take for granted.
