how to get rid of text-ads on gmail?

Post by osman »

Hi folks
First I would like to thank everybody who contributes this project because after I installed Adblock, surfing the net was better and faster.
I want to ask that how I can get rid of the text-ads on gmail? Adblock blocks every google text ads but not on gmail.

Very odd ... I don't see any ads at all in the mail interface EVEN with ABP totally disabled. Where are you seeing them?

when you open a mail, you can see the text-ads on right side, and it is annoying for me.

Q

Hide DIV Filter

Hi,

You can use the filter:
  • mail.google.com#DIV(class=rh)
to hide text ads in gmail.
Hint: Use the DOM inspector, then search a node, click on the element on the page, the DOM inspector will show you the node and its attributes so that you can select it in your filter...
