#1 on reddit for many hours already in case anybody hasn't noticed yet.

Quite some publicity, don't know how good this is in the long term though.

Great news!

This is great news for AdBlockPlus. Many more that did not know about this extension will be able to find out.

The Element Hiding Helper is really amazing, and I think it should get more visibility. No ads can hide

Someone submitted to Slashdot,

More publicity for AdBlockPlus!

I see it the other way around. This guy is getting thousands (millions?)of people to visit his site see his ads just because he's making such dramatic moves and claims toward Firefox. Think about how many have visited his site just to see what it should look like (thus seeing his ads) and what it looks like for Firefox users. He could care less if more people are blocking ads now then before, because he's just made boatloads of money with this move.. and some of us fell for it. Mark your selfs as suckers.

Don't worry Dogg .. it won't last. This guy is committing suicide. I've been spending a good part of the last couple of hours reading through Slashdot. Wow are THEY letting him have it! Hundreds upon hundreds of flame against our boy there. An incredibly active topic. They are appearing faster than I can read them.

Great promo :D

It's on the main page on Slashdot.

Almost 1,000 comments!
Many have now installed ABP as a result of this. :D

I wouldn't be surprised if someone engineered a 'bombardment of gigantic proportions' against our boy. A couple have suggested things like that. There have been a couple of nasty comments already left on his personal homepage.

I have no idea whether these are coming more from reddit or slashdot. But just like McDonalds ... "I'm lovin' it" :D

ps: Dogg. Lighten up and enjoy this. It may bomb his site at the moment ... but without any clicks. I really wouldn't want to be in his shoes now.
