Additional Items Required?

I was using adblock without anyproblems recently. Bu i had to reinstall the windows and firefox (so the extensions) on my new hard drive.
the operation system is xp professional, firefox 2.0 and adblock plus 1.0
but after restarting the firefox, on the extensions window, it says "additional items required", and there is a stop sign on the corner of adblock plus icon. What's wrong i couldn't figure out
