Adblockplus (0.2.7.4) doesn't work in Firefox 2.0.0.1 (were it worked before), after I ran it on Mozilla 3 trunk build from 5-2-2007 on the same profile once and returned to Firefox 2.0.0.1 . Now ABP works only on the trunk build.
When I say that it doesn't work, what happens is that it doesn't block ads, it shows an exclamation mark in the logo, and is grayed out. You cannot see its options menu with a right mouse click on the toolbar icon, only if you use the ABP icon at the bottom right. When choosing "preferences" and opening the main ABP window, all the filter rules were deleted. When I try to add a filter rule and press "Enter" it just ignores me and doesn't add the filter rule. "Enable adblock plus" is also igored since there are no filter rules.

ABP doesn't work in Firefox2 after running the trunk build
here is the error message
Thanks,
The first error reported in the Error console when I launch firefox is the following, and afterwards I get many other errors that probably are not related to adblock plus.
Error:
Source File: .../%7Bd10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d%7D/components/nsAdblockPlus.js
Line: 547
Do you know what this means?

There is no message in the error, just the location
Contrary to other errors that I see in the Error Console, this error doesn't have a message, just the location.
The line number is what is reported by the Error Console, although it may be not reasonable, when I click the file in the console, it opens it to the adblockplus.js and highlights a line with a "try {" statement
Thanks,
Niv

I now reinstalled ABP and it solved the problem
Thanks a lot.
I didn't try before to reinstall ABP since I was afraid I will lose my filters list.
But after you suggested it, I found out I can export them from ABP running on Firefox trunk.
Anyway, after re-installing ABP in Firefox 2.0.0.1 it worked and I didn't even have to import my filters list, it already remembered it.
In answer to your question, Firefox 2 and Firefox trunk applications are installed into 2 different directories in my system, so I don't think it was the problem.
Thanks again,
Niv
