I just installed Adblock Plus on my new computer (running through FireFox), and I can't get tabs to show up on Flash and Java objects. I looked in the options menu and it is configured to put tabs on them, it just isn't actually doing it. What do I need to change?

If the objects are in a tight iframe they may not show up since they're in the frame but outside the border.

Check out http://www.heute.de/ - do you see an object tab in the upper-left corner there?

Yes I do. I went back to the page where I originally noticed the problem, and I still didn't see a tab there. So does that mean it's just a framing problem like sheepy mentioned?

Probably yes. I think that's the only case left where you wouldn't see an object tab. But that's also the case where you are better off blocking the frame and not the object.

You also wouldn't see an object tab if you had whitelisted the element, but that's probably not what happened here.
