There should be a little less space between the lines now (it isn't the text size that changed). I get two more lines into my Prefs window.

That's what I thought.
No differences at all.

It depends on the theme you are using. I was refering to the default scheme - in other schemes the spacing might be less by default.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think there are differences after trying default theme...

WP: 0.6.0.4+ is terrific. I love 0.6.0.3 stable/28k - but the middle click button that now changes with "small icons" is too handy to pass up. Thanks also for the tutorial on icon changing! Spacing of filters in filterset view, default theme, seems "slightly" more compressed and that's good. If I resize window, there's only 4 filters I can't see in a one-page view. Better!

ok, it's visible in your screenshot.

So, it means that I find the space too big then. Maybe it's due to the adblok habit...

Thanks for screenshot, Fox - it "seemed" that lines were closer together (I'd like single spacing, #8 font, but then I'm a "Palm Pilot" guy and used to small screens & microfonts!) - but I wasn't sure how much closer til you provided a before & after.

The 'icon problem' I had with 0.6.0.3+ devel version is not present in 0.6.0.4+ !

Adblock Plus 0.6.0.4+

Warning: This is a development build and as a such it hasn't been fully tested and might not work properly. Use it at your own risk and make sure to save your filters list.

Changes:
- Fixed: Toolbar icon won't change when disabling (small icons only)
- Mozilla Suite/Seamonkey: Made "Open sidebar" available via context menu and keyboard shortcut, sidebar installs automatically
- Sidebar is detachable now (button in the upper-right corner)
- Preferences dialog: Line height decreased

Any usability suggestions for the detachable sidebar? Shortcut key to detach/reattach the sidebar is being considered (I'm very reluctant adding new shortcut keys though).

Just ROCKING good, ONE TEENY BUG. First the good news re: window:

1. Detach, RESIZE Window, "x" it out but don't re-attach . . . and it remembers your window position. Mine's width of the screen, 1/4 of height, at bottom. Working great.

2. CTL-SHIFT-B works as does single button click to bring it back up again - size still remembered.

3. Best of all you can minimize to bottom bar or go full screen if you needed! Site changing refreshes list, items "flash." All good!

As for "- Fixed: Toolbar icon won't change when disabling (small icons only)," I didn't have this problem with "last" 0.6.0.4+, and I use small icons.

Checking prefs line height . . . . Though I preferred single spacing in the past (like mcm's), this is easier to read than if they were jammed up against each other. It's a good "distance between rows;" perhaps just a little "tigher" and it'd be perfect. Not a big deal either way. If you'd rather be "done" here regarding line heights, then it's fine.

HERE'S THE BUG (mini-bug): While filterset view is up, AND you change window size, AND all your filters aren't visible so you SCROLL them, you lose huge sections of the filterlist. Scroll again, more gone. Scroll again, still more. When you close ("x" out) the window, and bring it up again, they all return - and at that point DO NOT "disappear." Weird.

Just for laughs, I uninstalled, then brought up about:config and CLEARED all adblock entries. Then I reinstalled, and imported filterset again (as obviously it's deleted when you clear the list in prefs) . . . did NOT do it a 2nd time, so perhaps it's an "overlay" problem. I did uninstall yesterday's DevBuild before loading this newest detachable sidebar version - but perhaps there is a pref that gets "hosed."

Wonderful this idea to detach window. No problem. I don't think I need shortcut. But, why don't you want hotkeys ? Some people don't like mouse (not me, but those who have laptop for example..)

One request (already said):
The filter which blocks one element is displayed in tooltip. Personally, I'd like if this filter was displayed near the button "Adblock" ...

One thing to note about the detachable sidebar vs leaving it "fixed:"

if you make it a sized window (as I did), and the page you're looking at is "long" and has a scroll bar on the side, if you click on that screen sidebar to view the "bottom" of the site or click the screen to use the mouse wheel, YOU'LL LOSE the AB+ sidebar window (it will be minimized). This adds a step as you've got to bring it back up again.

Keeping it as "sidebar proper" eliminates this; you can switch between both scroll bars and not lose the window. So rather than give yet another "option," could you make detached sidebar "stay on top (please)?" I'd use "stay on top" with a remembered window size (which it does) all the time, personally. If people want it "gone," then they'll "x" it out or click the icon; sidebar is "on top" til deactivated and it would be great to have same for detached one. That way you don't keep "losing the window."

Outstanding job, Wladimir.
