I think the problem is related to the java applet infact the page loads correctly if you use the NoScript with java disabled. I tried with both NoScript and AdBlock disabled and the page hangs.

Hm, not sure about this page (couldn't reproduce yet), but here it is related to object tabs - search for an address and the applet with a map won't show up correctly when object tabs are active.

@galmok: Try unchecking "Show tabs on Flash and Java" in the ABP Options - does it help?

@galmok: link you give
http://www.jp.dk/
and the "se video link," load fine for me, HERE

This is w/AB+DevBuild (not latest, prev 0.6.0.4 of 2 days ago) loaded and enabled, java enabled within FX. I don't use NoScript any more.

Further, I disabled AB+ and loaded it again - and that loaded ok too.

@Paulfox: I believe you even without a screenshot, it loads fine for me as well. With the Java applets I always suspected that it depended on connection speed, so this problem might be difficult to reproduce.

@Wladimir Palant: Is it able to replace the cockroach symbol with a different one, e.g. the symbol of Adblock Plus 0.5 which appears in the extension list? I think this would look like great and better then this ugly vermin.

The symbol in the extensions list is too big for the toolbar, it needs a 24x24 image.

A pitty, I guess you've already tried to resize the symbol till it fits.

Unchecking "Show tabs on Flash and Java" seems to make it work fine. This seems to be a workable solution. :-)

However, my laptop is now not using a proxy (has direct internet access) whereas my previous tests were using a proxy (no direct internet access).

@Wladimir Palant: I've noticed that you removed the QuickBlock feature from Adblock Plus 0.5.11.2. I found this feature very nice and useful. You are able to remove e.g. images for which you don't want to create a filter by simply using [Shift]+doubleclick on this. This feature was very hard to find, but perhaps you can create a special option so everyone could activate this easily if they don't know the hotkey. Would be nice if future versions of Adblock Plus 0.6 would contain this together with flash overlay.

What's the point in removing an image after it already loaded and that will come back when you reload the page?

For printing purposes perhaps. That is why I use Nuke Anything Enhanced https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/m ... on=firefox

Sometimes it won't make sense to create a filter to remove an image. This function replaced the extension "NukeAnything" for me, and I liked it. When it isn't so big at all and won't harm performance of Adblock Plus 0.6 dramtically, why removing it? And there are many websites which learned from there mistake by creating ads with simple images (e.g. "http://www.gamestar.de/index.html" look at the right side of the page). There are Sites which are using links and different methods to make there kind of ad hard to block. But at least you could remove this element with quickblock. Okay, it will be back if you reload the page, but for the moment you are reading this site you can remove this ad or any other element. And sometimes it could happen that you block all images (not only ads) of a site by making a mistake in the own filter. I'm not very skilled in creating filters and it's not impossible that this could happen. I found Quickblock useful and I don't see a reason to remove it.

The reason why it was removed is that it was one of those incredibly buggy features, and absolutely not discoverable. Taking it back in requires time in terms of writing the code and maintaining it - meaning that I won't do it without a good reason.

@Wladimir Palant: The new version 0.6.1 is excellent. I love the detachable sidebar, and I like the single language installation which is a little smaller then the full language support. But the cockroach is still ugly, and I suggest to set the status bar icon on the very right side by default so that is not necessary to install one more extension to do this job like "Organize Status Bar". I also would like to see something like "flash overlays" in future versions.
