Problem is solved and Adblock Plus 0.6.0.4 has been released. It should be approved on addons.mozilla.org soon. http://bugzilla.mozdev.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12929 has some more details.

It's still not working for me, even using 0.6.0.4.

I only get the "Not loaded" in the status bar. I tried reinstalling it a couple of times with no luck.

Nothing at all.

It works fine when I install it as root, but it won't work for a normal user.

BTW, I'm using Debian Linux.

Updates to Firefox 1.5.0.1 and Adblock 0.6.1 dont't change much except that it's now an icon telling me that Adblock is not installed properly.
