I'm pretty sure that has since been fixed. At least for the most part. I could be wrong and WP will have a better answer for you on that.

I have seen this entry and it is sort of weird. So far nobody could really prove there is a real problem, most likely people are seeing JavaScript's garbage collector at work. The suggested "work-around" is mind-boggling, I am almost 100% sure that Adblock behaves in exactly the same way (+ it has a number of other issues). There are more serious issues with the way memory is freed with Adblock Plus (for example bug 15317) and I am actually looking into ways to work around those right now...

I stand corrected. My mistake and sorry, it must have been some other memory bug that was fixed that I was thinking of. :oops:
