Adblock for IE7

Post by Quark »

There are a few websites that i MUST visit with IE7 because FF does not work on these sites.
I need an adblock for IE7 that works just like Adblock Plus. Where can I find such a thing?
Thanks

IE7 pro seems to be a favourite of most people, AdMuncher also works well.

I've just seen that : http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Ad ... 85827785/1
I don't know whether it is good or not.

Not sure, I don't even have Internet Explorer on my machine (nLite'd install) and haven't used it for years... sorry!

I guess you could always give it a try?

There are two addins that are FREE of which I'm aware. AFAIK both can be convinced to use EasyList:

http://ie7pro.com
http://adbrick.blogspot.com/

The latter is designed with AdBlockPlus lists in mind.

* Most of the commercial IE adblocking products I've reviewed are scumware. If you don't want to install an addin then consider

Pat.M. I think I read somewhere that AB+ doesn't work IN IE Tab. So, it wouldn't help here. Does it work in IE Tab now or something?

Of course not. IETab is IE - unmodified and with all the genuine problems.

Thanks for confirming Chewey, that's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if they had changed it recently or something. Even though I don't see how they could have. Anyway again thanks.
