when it updates why does it erase all my bookmarks,
is there a way to make it not do that? i use the subscribe easy list.... help is aprreciated

Adblock Plus has absolutely nothing to do with bookmarks, so the culprit is something else in all probability.
When WHAT updates guest? ... Firefox, ABP , or the EasyList?
As chewey says, ABP has nothing to do with losing bookmarks. That would be some kind of Firefox problem or some other problem.
There have been discussions on Mozillazine about people losing bookmarks in Firefox. You might want to post that problem there as the folks there would probably know more about that.
Don't know whether this will help or not, but anytime I have had a little hiccup with Firefox or don't think Firefox is working as well after an update, I download the full install of Firefox and then do an uninstall/reinstall of it. Nothing is lost and in many cases it seems to re-stabilize the program.
