The Dreaded Sponsored Links

Post by tor44 »

I'm new to this "filtering" community although I have used Adblock in its standard form (successfully) for several months. This is a wonderful thing you guys are doing. The plague of adverts is ruining the WEB experience.

I am using FF1.5 (spellbound), Noscript, Adblock+, and CustomizeGoogle extension. Up until Google2 I was getting clean pure content with no sidebar ads and had never heard of SPONSORED LINKS. Now Google is oozing toxins again and I have added all the Easylist Elements etc. I have not yet tested these.

Are there some specific filters needed to gut the "SPONSORED LINKS" or will this take care of it all?

You can reply here with any suggestions FD5.471a@isp.com
Thanks - Great Job

You should be more specific, give a website example or else we can't be sure of that which is troubling you.

Easylist & co. may or may not be enough, it simply depends on which site you are talking about.

Well, test your subscriptions out and let us know how well they work for you. :) It sounds like you're using the EasyList and EasyElement subscriptions.
