No, only paid search results on YouTube are affected by this.

Guess this was expected, google's ads are perfectly in line with the rules of acceptable ads. And I have ABP disabled on google anyways

"Search ads" are just those that appear at the top of the Google page when you do a search, right? Those are always text-only and always clearly marked as advertisements. Those are acceptable.

Then it sounds good to me - they seem to be really unobtrusive (in fact, Google search ads are the only ones I used to click on... before ABP
